ZMapp to be tested in Nigeria

American Ebola experimental serum ZMapp,is going to be tested in Nigeria. Ebola is a disease that was brought into Nigeria by Patrick Sawyerr. Ebola can be prevented by washing our hands with soap as regular as possible. We can also use sanitizers to sanitize our hands after contact with another person. We LCB(LawalsCornerBloggers)urge parents to ensure their children wash their hands as soon as possible because a disease like Ebola can easily be transmitted through kids. Kids are very playful as we all know. They touch people carelessly. Please parents ensure your children wash their hands regularly. You can give your child a bottle of sanitizer so as to use after body contact.

Boris Kodjoe features on the cover of Upscale Magazine

The new issue of Upscale Magazine features German-Ghanaian actor Boris Kodjoe on the cover. Boris who grew up in Germany talks about the hurdles he overcame learning English and entering the American entertainment industry. “If I started worrying about how people perceive me, I would be mad about people not realizing that I couldn’t even speak English when I first came here. People always give so much props to English actors that do an American accent convincingly. I had to learn how to walk and talk and move around so I could be accepted as somebody who plays African-American roles. There’s not one other German actor who has established himself as playing American characters. I’m proud of that. I use it as encouragement to myself that I don’t have to put limitations on where I wanna go.”
What a lucky man. Imagine the President of the United States, the First Lady and their kids attending your wedding. Yesterday August 30th, president Obama, his wife Michelle and their daughters, Sasha and Malia flew from Washington to New York to attend the wedding of the White House assistant chef and their longtime family chef and close friend, Sam Kass (top right), who married MSNBC host Alex Wagner (bottom right). Kass began cooking for the Obamas when they lived in Chicago before Obama became president, and in 2009 they persuaded him to come to the White House. Obama even attended Sam's bachelor party last week. See photos of their arrival in NY after the cut.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's wife files divorce

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy Church, and his wife, Anita Odegwa Oyakhilome, are reportedly undergoing divorce proceedings. Anita is said to be filing for divorce on grounds of “adultery and unreasonable behaviour,” The Citizen reports. According to reports, the divorce case with Suit No FD14D01650, was filed on April 9, 2014 at Divorce Section A, Central Family Court, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, UK. An elder of Christ Embassy reportedly told news sources that Pastor Chris is denying the allegations of adultery, and that he is convinced that his wife is being influenced by “bad friends” who want to destroy their home. In addition to the adultery accusations, it is alleged that Anita is accusing her husband of relegating her in church affairs. On the other hand, sources say Pastor Chris thinks his wife is trying to “usurp power and authority above her seniors in the ministry.” Reports also state that all efforts being made to reconcile the couple have failed. The dissolution of the couple’s marriage is said to be in the final phases. They have two teenage daughters, Sharon and Charlyn.

"Book Haram is Funded by a CBN official

Australian hostage negotiator, Stephen Davis, is revealing more information he alleges to be true. Yesterday, BN brought you the news that Davis, who spent four months negotiating with Boko Haram on behalf of the Nigerian government to free the over 200 abducted Chibok school girls, stated that prominent Nigerian politicians are “primary sponsors” of Boko Haram. In another interview, he tells The Cable that Boko Haram insurgents informed him that a senior CBN official was involved in funding their terrorism activities. According to him, the official currently works in the currency operations division of the bank, and is the one handling the transactions. Speaking on why Western countries have been unable to trace Boko Haram’s source of funding, he says funding is done through “…a legal channel, through the gatekeeper – the CBN, and that makes it very easy to cover up.” Some more excerpts from the interview: One of the biggest of suppliers of arms and military uniforms to the JAS (Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad, better known as Boko Haram) currently lives in Cairo, Egypt. He is the recipient of money sent by political sponsors from Nigeria. The funds go through the CBN’s financial system and appear to be a legal transaction. Meanwhile, the CBN official who handles the funding is an uncle to three of those arrested in connection with the Nyanya bombings. The three boys lived with him. They were arrested by the SSS (Department of State Security) after the bombings but they do not seem to have been interrogated about their uncle in CBN. Or if they have given up information about their uncle then the SSS has not moved against him.
